Welcome to Case Counseling , P.L.L.C., owned / operated by Mrs. Robin Case. Robin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who is located in Flower Mound, Texas, under the professional mental health group umbrella, Flower Mound Family Counseling. Robin has over 39 years of social work experience, the majority of which (27 years) has been in private practice. Prior to being sole proprietor of Case Counseling since 1991, Robin held public servant social work positions with the Texas Department of Human Services as a food stamp / eligibility worker; a juvenile parole officer for the Texas Youth Commission; and program director of a residential treatment facility. Robin has also conducted crisis intervention sessions on-site at various businesses in the Dallas / Fort Worth metroplex, and provided consultation to schools, agencies, and private groups. Furthermore, Robin has conducted sexual addiction therapy on a contract basis with Sante’ Center in Argyle, Texas.

Robin is a seasoned social worker who stays abreast of current social work trends and best practices, attends continuing education / certification training, and is a firm believer of utilizing evidence based practices. Robin has demonstrated a life-time career passion and commitment to serving people in long-term psychotherapy and brief interventions, depending on the needs of the individual client or family. She is committed to helping clients overcome addictions to drugs and alcohol, and sexual addictions; to find healing and therapeutic help for eating disorders, depression, anxiety, post- traumatic stress disorder, phobias, ADD/ADHD issues; and, to helping clients work through communication skills necessary to work through issues related to blended families and couples / family counseling, parental support, adolescent and teenage parenting conflict issues, and work / career issues. In addition to social work private practice, Robin has also been approved by the Denton County District Courts and Wise County Courts to conduct Adoption Evaluations and court ordered Child Custody Evaluations.

Robin has been described by clients, colleagues, and peers as one who has a positive – “don’t give up, the glass is still half full” spirit. Robin has a “can do” attitude. She is a welcoming and warm, open-minded, encouraging, non-judgmental, but direct therapist, who combines her education, years of experience, creativity, and down-to-earth sense of humor to tailor a realistic approach to counseling. Whether Robin is using play therapy techniques with young children or complementary therapeutic approaches and behavioral therapy techniques with teenagers and adults, she will provide a personalized, grounded approach to help her clients achieve their stated objectives for personal growth and healing.

Robin is a resident of Denton County, Texas. She has been happily married for 38 years, has three adult age children who are happy, healthy, and successful, and she is a member of a non-denominational Christian church in Denton, Texas. She loves soccer, baseball, and participating in 5K running events. Robin is adventurous, loves to travel, enjoys concert events, cherishes her time with her grandchildren, loves walking her dogs, socializing with friends, and is an avid reader.
